I-You Venture
Everyone smiles when those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities receive a visit from a friend. You can make a difference to the many residents whose families live too far away to visit often or who many not have any family left.
As an I-You Venture volunteer you might choose to call on individual residents, participate in a small discussion group, or get involved in a planned activity.
As an Ageless Art Artist you would join residents in expressing themselves using various kinds of media. You could also participate in creating community exhibits that excite the artist in everyone.
As a Holiday Helper you might enjoy playing Santa or making sure facility residents receive a holiday gift.
