Caring 4 Kids
April is National Child Abuse Awareness month. Instead of just focusing on the problem of child abuse, this coming April we are celebrating families coming together to create the community we want to live in: A community that is vibrant and strong with families that have their needs met and is consciously caring for kids.
Survivors Healing Center is excited to participate in Kids Day 2025, a family-friendly event hosted by The Downtown Association of Santa Cruz, in partnership with Growing Up In Santa Cruz and Abbott Square Market. This special event will take place on Saturday, May 3, from 12 PM to 4 PM, transforming downtown Santa Cruz into a vibrant hub of activities, resources, and entertainment for children and families.
We are excited to again be hosting our Caring 4 Kids Rhythm Event this year! As a part of National Night Out (hosted by Community Action Board) we invite you to come make music at our Caring 4 Kids Rhythm Event to be held on Tuesday, August 5 at:
