Remembering Seniors in Care Facilities
I-You Venture is seeking volunteers to visit seniors in care facilities.
Volunteers can help reduce the isolation and loneliness many residents face every day. Volunteers let residents know someone cares!
Volunteers may:
- Assist with arts and crafts
- Assist with board games, puzzles, and Bingo
- Share the joy of music
- Share life history and memories
- Share one on one visits
- Read to seniors
Activity items can also help relieve some of the stress and isolation residents may be feeling. Some suggestions include Crossword Puzzles, Word Search Books, and Adult Coloring Books.
