Suicide Prevention Service
Providing support for individuals at risk of suicidal behavior
A History of Crisis Support
For 50 years, Suicide Prevention Service has worked together with Central Coast counties, cities, and communities, as well as our public, private, faith, and educational partners to prevent suicide. Through compassionate care, mindful education, and evidence-based training, we aim to increase public awareness on suicide prevention and provide support for suicide survivors.
Our work is based on the foundational belief that suicide is preventable, and that everyone can have a role to play in preventing suicide.
If you are feeling suicidal, if you know someone who is, if you are worried about someone, or if you have lost someone to suicide… We want you to know that you are not alone — support is available.
If you or someone close to you is experiencing a mental health crisis, please call, text, or chat our 24-hour suicide crisis line by dialing 988 and speak with one of our trained responders today.
